Membership

We are actively seeking new members. If you want to join us, just contact us. We’ll arrange for you to come to a meeting and help you complete the application process. We just have a few requirements:

  • You must pay annual dues of $100 and a one time application fee of $100. If joining between the March and July meetings, dues are prorated to $50.
  • You must attend 5 monthly club meetings on the second Wednesday of each month, except February.
  • You must work 20 hours per year. There are lots of chances to do work including work parties and meeting attendance counts towards the requirement. There are plenty of opportunities to contribute to the club in many ways, so if you have any special skills that may be of use, please let us know. Monthly meeting attendance counts towards this requirement.
  • If you are not an Ulster County resident, you will need a current club member to act as a sponsor.
  • You must be a member of one of these approved organizations (as of 7/2022 BOD meeting):

Once you complete the application, pay all fees, complete the orientation and the club members vote you in, you will become a probationary member. As a probationary member, you can use all the club facilities and attend club functions. You cannot vote or hold club office.

After one year (3 years for non-residents) of probationary membership, you will be voted as a full club member at a monthly meeting. At that point, you will be able to hold office, vote in elections, and your membership will be automatically renewed as long as dues and fees are paid.

In order to streamline the application process, you may print and fill out the below forms and bring them with you to a club meeting.

  • Application Form
  • Range Rules
  • You can also fill out our Online Membership Form. Note that you still must attend a meeting to complete your application and pay your fees. Using this form will help prevent transcription errors from the paper form.
